Came up when trying to compile my code with maven 3.5.3.
I'm not using any experimental features AFAIK 😄

I think not, I am using JDK10, not 9.
Also, this is not only a warning, it breaks my build. I am not able to compile the code.

We did release 1.16.22, but I recommend waiting for 1.18.0, which will be released very soon.
