Locust: After installing the locust i am unable to get locust version.

I am facing the below issue

my python version

python3 --version 
Python 3.6.9 

pip3 --version pip 
9.0.1 from /usr/lib/python3/dist-packages (python 3.6)

The correct command to get locust's version is locust -V (capital V)

If that doesnt help, run it in a different folder where there is no locustfile.
