Lila: stockfish stops working on study

I'm encountering some issues with the Study feature. SF stops working after a few moves. It starts working again for a few moves after refreshing the page before stopping again.

Chrome Version 85.0.4183.121 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Windows 8.1

No variant games involved.

Started happening two days ago.

I have i7-5500U and 4 threads

Also the problem seems to occur only in Study

I tried using local evaluation in my older games and it works fine there. Seems exclusively a Study problem.

I set the memory to minimum (16 MB) and it still happens

It seems to be working when I set the CPU to 1

Are you to reproduce using Chrome's Incognito feature or equivalent in Firefox? In other words, are you able to reproduce when no browser extensions are being loaded?

Also a report the hide next moves is not working. on Chrome both on his windows and Mac machines, no extensions. 1st pic Mac second windows. Username IMRescuer on lichess discord

I have two ideas for the cause. Let's try to exclude them systematically. Updated to exclude the first. Is this issue still happening now?
