Hello,

Castle move should not be allowed. Could you please fix it.

There's simply no rule that those squares may not be attacked. The only requirements are:

  1. The king and the chosen rook are on the player's first rank.

:heavy_check_mark:

  1. Neither the king nor the chosen rook has previously moved.

:heavy_check_mark:

  1. There are no pieces between the king and the chosen rook.

:heavy_check_mark:

  1. The king is not currently in check.

:heavy_check_mark:

  1. The king does not pass through a square that is attacked by an enemy piece.

:heavy_check_mark:

  1. The king does not end up in check. (True of any legal move.)

The places are under attack by knight from d7 place and castle should not be allowed

Thanks, but it's actually a common misconception that the rook may not be attacked or move through attacked squares: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castling#Requirements

It's not the rook under attack it's empty squares under attack.. could you recheck the position

Check the rules. That's fine.

@rohan-s-raju If you have done so and still disagree, which of the 6 requirements from the Wikipedia article is violated?

Check the position of the knight at d7and explain it.. it's wrong castle should not be allowed as it has attached the position of b8 and f8. How can that move is allowed????

It's not the rook under attack it's the spaces between the rook and king under attack and it should not be allowed to castle..

Please do correct me there...

Hmm so rook can pass through it the squares are under attack and not the king as b8 square is under attack by knight and rook is allowed to pass through it..
