Lighthouse: More gracefully handle aborted requests

Sites like https://music.amazon.com/ in #2293 abort the initial request so the result is sitting on about:blank for the full 30s timeout before failing with "Unable to load the page: ERR_ABORTED". We can detect the server aborted the request and throw immediately with a friendlier error or put something nice into squirrelyStuff.
