Lens: BLOCKER: Lens does not work on MacOS 10.15.7 + on Big Sur

Describe the bug
Once i updated from OSX 10.15.4 to 10.15.7 i am not able to work with Lens.
A collegoiue of mine is using 10.15.5 and it is working good.
I click on the App and it is not launching any UI at all!
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Upgrade to 10.15.7 / Big Sur of OSX
2. Install Lens (any version from 3.6.0 and on)
3. Try to launch the application

Expected behavior
Lens IDE will pop up and I will be able to work with it

I have the same issue

I ran

DEBUG=true 
/Applications/Lens.app/Contents/MacOS/Lens

I then pressed ctrl+c and got

^C/bin/sh: ioreg: command not found
/bin/sh: ioreg: command not found

And the UI showed up

The above fix worked for me as well on Big Sur. 11.0.1

I tried to downgrade to the old 3.6.9 version and it was still not working even though that used to work prior to me trying to upgrade to 4.0.0.

I have now been able to load Lens 4.0.2 using @adamtharani 's method as well as 3.6.9. If there are any logs that would be useful, please let me know and I can share.

Might try deleting all of the old Lens config files that are on my machine and starting fresh on 4.0.2 to see if this might be an issue.
