When trying to add the Ethereum account to my Portfolio it sometimes gets stuck on the "Open Ethereum app on your device" screen. After some tries it works.
Kind of similar to issue #943
-open Ethereum app on Ledger
-click on add Account
-select Ethereum and continue
I'm having the same error.
Same here.
having the same issue
Edit: fixed it, turned off broswer support in ethereum app settings and in synced straight away
@dylankilkenny already had it turned off
Same issue here. (Turning Browser Support off doesn't help.)
I had the same issue, turning off browser support didn't help. But restarting Ledger Live resolved it for me.
I was having issues too and the following worked for me:
It worked for me in that order.
I was able to get the Ethereum account to register, however, when going back to do a verify address, it wouldn't recognize that the app was opened on the device when it was. Switching between browser support on and off wouldn't work. to fix it, I had to bypass the device verification by saying Don't have your device and then by clicking verify at the bottom of that modal, it'll recognize it again as normal.
I had the same issue, turning off browser support worked for me. After this close the register account window and try it again.
I returned back to "add accounts" dialog and tried again and it succeeded. Other PC succeeded immediately.
click on back when the apps get stuck, then again on continue and it will work
Same issue. Opening the app on my Nano S a dozen times resolved the problem. Had the same issue with XRP (Ripple), also resolved by opening the app multiple times.
This should be fixed in incoming 1.0.2 , stay tuned
Had the same problem in 1.2.12. Allowing Contract data and Display data (both set on the Ledger Nano S) fixed it for me.
