Yes, keep holding ctrl(win) or command(mac) and click on multiple files.

Has the feature of multiple image selection implemented? I tried the latest version but can't seem to work it out to select multiple images? Need help.

Multiple selection exist in v2.0 .
You need to click to multiple select icon in corner
