Laravel-debugbar: Debugbar fails when using Laravel Mix browserify proxy

I'm getting the same issue with this. Works fine normally, but when using browserify I get the same error with "phpdebugbar.addDataSet".

@xavi7th This is a long shot but is your APP_URL in your .env file set to localhost:8000?

Same issue here when using proxy.

My webpack.min.js

Issue is located at the same place than @xavi7th, where the request_headers are set:

request_headers":"array:10 [\n  \"host\" => array:1 [\n    0 => \"//hq.slmd.com.mo.docker:3000"\n  ]\n  \"connect

I tried to erase the request headers, but couldn't make it work. Not sure how to solve this.

Common story: try things for hours, post comment on github, 10 minutes after find the solution :D

Rewrite the request headers like below:

           host: 'hq.slmd.com.mo.docker',
           proxy: {
               target: 'hq.slmd.com.mo.docker:8080/home',
               reqHeaders: function () {

                       host: "hq.slmd.com.mo.docker:3000"

@sco-tt yes my APP_URL in .env was set to localhost:8000. Still the same issue that way.

@barryvdh sorry for the late reply. I got pressured by deadlines and gave up trying to make this work on that project. I split queries optimization (which is where I depend heavily on debugbar) to another stage in the dev cycle. Also, no I don't have a solution BUT @godbout's solution worked flawlessly. I changed my browserSync config as such

   mix.browserSync({
     proxy: {
         target: 'localhost:8000',
         reqHeaders: function () {
             return {
                 host: "localhost:3000"
             };
         }
      },
     browser: "google chrome",
     files: [
         'resources/views/**/*.php',
         'public/**/*.html',
         'public/**/*.php',
         'public/js/**/*.js',
        '!public/css/**/*.css'
     ],
   });
