Kibana: Changing query language in Discover doesn't clear saved query

Kibana version: 7.7, 8.0
Browser version: Chrome 81
Browser OS version: Mac
Original install method (e.g. download page, yum, from source, etc.): localhost yarn start dev

Describe the bug:

Changing query language in Discover doesn't clear saved query

Steps to reproduce:

1. Apply saved query
2. Change query language
3. Query language is not changed. Query is still applied

Expected behaviour:

Query should be cleared and language changed

In Dashboard this works. Likely caused by new way how discover integrates with top-nav (use-default-true). A bit related to: https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/63505
