Hello.
Would you please add support Windows XP for KeePassXC? Many people have no ability or desire to install Windows 7.
Thanks.
Umm... You know that the current Windows version is Windows 10 and Windows XP has been end of life since 2014?
Not just end of life but since you are connected to the internet you are very very likely infected with all sorts of hidden malware and viruses. There are critical exploitable known vulnerabilities in XP that are never being patched.

I know that perfectly.
Windows XP does its job well. No one should install a new version of the operating system just because the mad marketers from Microsoft wanted it.
Do not listen to marketers from Microsoft. They pursue their goals. A person should pursue their goals, and not go on the heels of Microsoft's marketers.

I've been connected to the Internet around the clock for the last 7 years and I do not have any problems due to viruses. I use antivirus DrWeb.

Sorry, but this isn't about Microsoft's "mad marketers". This is about you using a legacy operating system which puts not only yourself at risk, but also others who will eventually be attacked by your infected computer. It is also about us not having the resources nor the desire to support an operating system whose release date was almost 20 years ago. But it is definitely not about Microsoft and their marketing strategy.
If you don't want to pay money for an operating system upgrade, I suggest switching to Linux, but continuing to use Windows XP is dangerous. Anti Virus software will not help you. At best it detects yesterday's threats, at worst it puts you even more at risk by running with high privileges.

You are using a proprietary system and then complain about it being a proprietary system.
Hello, guys.

Windows XP does not have only 2 Win32 API functions, which are necessary for the KeePassXC.
::RegisterPowerSettingNotification() and ::UnregisterPowerSettingNotification()

I think it will be easy to add support for Windows XP.
Thanks.
You are welcome to modify the code to your liking to make it work for you. These calls are likely used by the auto lock on sleep code. Easily commented out and recompile. For us to fix we would have to build and deploy a specific XP variant. See src/core/ScreenLockListenerWin.cpp
I think the TO is trolling. Windows XP support is out of the question. We will never waste our time on that. But if someone wants to make their own build, suit yourself.
