Hi,
Karabiner no longer works as mentioned in the title. Below is a screenshot of the log output by Karabiner Elements. This issue has been going on for a few days now. Normally it would start acting up at the end of the day. Now it has started from the moment I got into work.
I updated to the latest beta version (12.8.2) just in case that that might make any change.

I'd like to get this fixed, because Karabiner has been working perfectly for a few years now.
Cheers
I have downgraded to 12.7.0 to see if it is something to do with 12.8+ But it still returns the same errors
Activity monitor also only shows one instance of the application running, at least for as far as I can tell

The Karabiner-eventviewer also shows the keys as registering, but they do not seem to work when typing.
Running sudo killall karabiner_observer karabiner_grabber Does nothing and the Log keeps showing the errors
As always, restarting my computer seems to do the trick. But I don't want to keep doing that all the time
It happened again and forced me to restart
Only 3 hours had to pass for it to mess up again. Great.

Just started experiencing this issue on Beta version 12.9.2
I'm facing the same problem using 12.9.2
Experiencing this today on 12.9.0. Stopped working after a sleep, then it started working again. Then about 3 hours later it suddenly stopped working again.
I have the same issue now, and keybinding is completely broken after it worked intermittently for a few days. I get the same buffer space error in the log as mentioned by the OP, and whenever I open a password field or the accessibility keyboard, it erroneously shows the caps key is ON. This is after posting in issues #2250 and #2247, for reference.

Also seeing this in the Console log over and over:
Apr 29 10:01:48 MBP com.apple.xpc.launchd[1] (org.pqrs.karabiner.karabiner_grabber[67142]): Service exited with abnormal code: 1
Apr 29 10:01:48 MBP com.apple.xpc.launchd[1] (org.pqrs.karabiner.karabiner_grabber): Service only ran for 0 seconds. Pushing respawn out by 10 seconds.

I'm seeing this in K-E 13.0.0 running on OSX 10.15.6, even after a force-quit of the grabber and observer & restart of Karabiner-Elements. Karabiner isn't adjusting my keys and log fills up with messages like the below.

@fecundf
It seems grabber failed to quit well, and so, restart is failed.
Are there any other error messages in /var/log/karabiner/grabber.log?
You can confirm it in Console.app > Log Reports > grabber.log
Sorry @tekezo I just noticed your question about grabber.log- it seems that after a reboot, the grabber overwrites the old log, and I haven't experienced the problem again since my Oct 5th post. If I encounter this again will write back.
