Karabiner-elements: karabiner_cli: where to find and how to use?

The changelog for version 0.90.88 says there now exists a command line client karabiner_cli (which sounds nice!). However, I cannot find it. Where is it located? How do I use it? Can I switch profiles with it?

Print usage:

'/Library/Application Support/org.pqrs/Karabiner-Elements/bin/karabiner_cli' 

Switch profile:

'/Library/Application Support/org.pqrs/Karabiner-Elements/bin/karabiner_cli'  --select-profile 'Default profile'
