It would be nice to have a homebrew formula to install k3d.
I created a formula to install from the binary on my tap: https://github.com/caarlos0/homebrew-tap/blob/master/Formula/k3d.rb
Its pretty simple, if you want to have it on your own tap, I can open a PR or something.
If you maybe want to submit to homebrew-core, which would require compile from source, therefore a different formula, I may also try to help, although I'm not well-versed in that...
Thanks for working on this, I'd be happy to include this in the repo, or if possible in the homebrew core repo. I don't have any experience with MacOS, I think @andyz-dev or @iwilltry42 might be able to help better with it.
@caarlos0 I am a MacOS user, and it would really cool if we can use brew to install k3d. I am a brew user, but do not know the internals, Any help or contributions in the front will be greatly appreciated. I will be happy to help with any changes required on this end. Thanks for the suggestions.
Will try to add to the homebrew core :) Will report back as soon as I have something.
I'm on Linux (and Windows if needed), so I guess @andyz-dev is the best assignee for this issue
Thanks @caarlos0 for working something out :+1:
