Jwt-auth: Token Invalid - 0.5.12

Created on 9 Jun 2017  路  6Comments  路  Source: tymondesigns/jwt-auth

After updating to 0.5.12, from 0.5.11, I'm getting the error response:

{"error":"token_invalid"}"

Please let me know how I can help debug this issue, all I've had to do to recreate it is switch to 0.5.12.

I'm on Laravel 5.3.31.

Thanks

I have the same issue but for now I went back to 0.5.11 until this issue gets fixed.

Thanks bro.

Same issue, downgraded to 0.5.11, works again now.

This worked for me:

I was sending the authorization header like this:
Authorization: Bearer: TOKEN

Now I am sending like this, without the ':' after the 'Bearer':
Authorization: Bearer TOKEN

Any news on this issue. I downgraded also to 0.5.11 as I had the same problem with invalid tokens on 0.5.12

EDIT
0.5.12 seems to be more strict on the bearer token in the authorization header. Just saw the developer surrounded the token with brackets. Removing them solved the problem.

Having brackets surrounding the token in the header causes this issue for me.
