Nice tutorial, @mvolpato !

I apologize if this is the wrong venue for my question but is there a tutorial, written or video, on how to get started with this audio player?

I don't have the computer power for screen recording, but if anyone can recommend some simple video editing software for Linux that would let me put together some slides with a voice over, I'd actually be interested to give it a try.

I am not the maintainer, but I use this package in a production app.

I started a series of articles. There is only one for now, with a very basic implementation of this package.

I plan to add also audio_service and audio_session.

I am a bit busy this week and weekend, I will continue next week, probably.

Thank you very much. I am rather new to this and the provided Example looked a little overwhelming but the project looks quite promising.
Thanks again for your swift reply.

I have been through your excellent tutorial and it is just what I needed.
I suggest a link to it should be put on the Homepage. It is indeed a very concise and useful introduction to the just_player.
Thank you for this tutorial and I will be looking forward to forthcoming tutorials.
All the best

@ryanheise _Simple screen recorder_ for linux might help, i have used it very minimal features but would do the trick. Also i still vote for having a discord server, so that people don't pollute the github issues.
i have created one discord server, ryan tell me if it will be good to post it. i will make you admin.

Unfortunately my computer doesn't have the power for screen recording, but I would be interested to hear recommendations for video editing tools.

I'd like StackOverflow to be the first option for community support since it encourages well written and researched questions and answers, avoids duplicate questions, and ensures a definitive answer written once reaches the widest audience. It also fits well into my own workflow. As someone who avoids instant messaging at all costs so that I can focus on what I'm doing in time boxes, StackOverflow is conveniently something I can log into once a day to check my inbox and answer the questions that have stacked up over the past 24 hours while I was away focusing on other things. I also think that if StackOverflow is the only option for community support, it will act as a funnel concentrating people's efforts into one place leading to a large, searchable database of well-written questions and answers.

But if I haven't convinced you, I would suggest posting a feature request as a way of inviting others to share their views, and for you to gauge how many people might potentially be willing to volunteer as admins/helpers to keep it going.

understood @ryanheise i would not vote for anything that would distracte you from the work, so i do not have any issues with stackoverflow. i just had this idea when i saw the channel of react native track player. anyway this idea is stale now.

Hi @afkcodes , as you might know, my circumstances have drastically changed and I need to find a way to continue working on the future of this plugin, while also managing my medical condition. I think one way to do that is to turn this into more of a collaborative open source project, and the idea of having a discord server is now becoming a more attractive option for discussing things we can keep improving (speaking is now more bearable than typing.) Would you be interested still in setting up a discord server?

@ryanheise yes sure i will set it up and will send you an invite here.

@ryanheise here is the server just created it : https://discord.gg/77dtkdaGEz
you join and lets have a discussion there.

hey @ryanheise what is the plan going forward with this ?

Hi @afkcodes I am still unsure of which video editing software to use and would appreciate a recommendation, but also for reasons hinted at above, my attempt at such a video will have to be delayed as I focus my limited capacity on the higher priority tasks. But software recommendations will make it easier.
