Is there a place where js-lingui is compared to e.g. react-intl, something that helps newcomers understand why they should be interested in this? Considering that react-intl is so popular, I think it would be quite important. Thanks for your time 馃檹
Would be great to share such info with @elischutze who just made a ReactFest talk about i18n: https://twitter.com/elibelly/status/976765290091614208
I just finished writing up a documentation on the requested topic. It's part of an internal confluence document, although I'm up for suggestions on sharing it.
@geebee-lumity how about you create a PR with the documentation? I'm sure many people will benefit from it and could extend and improve it if it becomes open and does not stay internal.
@geebee-lumity Thats really nice! Is it possible to share the document? I could help converting confluence format to restructuredtext and publish it in jsLingui docs.
Meanwhile, I wrote down comparison of react-intl and jsLingui. Any feedback welcome!
@tricoder42 I love what you have done with this library and great comparison doc 馃憤
Closing for now. @geebee-lumity if you could share the content of the document, feel free to reopen.
are there any comparisons with react-i18next available?
@tonyxiao Not that I'm aware of, I've never used it. Feel free to write up comparison, if you have experiences with both libs.
