Reviewers and authors:
Please avoid lengthy details of difficulties in the review thread. Instead, please create a new issue in the target repository and link to those issues (especially acceptance-blockers) by leaving comments in the review thread below. (For completists: if the target issue tracker is also on GitHub, linking the review thread in the issue or vice versa will create corresponding breadcrumb trails in the link target.)
@jspaezp & @sigven, please carry out your review in this issue by updating the checklist below. If you cannot edit the checklist please:
The reviewer guidelines are available here: https://joss.readthedocs.io/en/latest/reviewer_guidelines.html. Any questions/concerns please let @pibion know.
✨ Please start on your review when you are able, and be sure to complete your review in the next six weeks, at the very latest ✨

@jspaezp, @sigven, could you confirm that you can check and uncheck the boxes at the top of this issue?
@pibion I am afraid I am not able to check any boxes, unsure as to why. I am logged in and have accepted the invitation.
@pibion I do seem to check the boxes in the issue
@whedon re-invite @sigven as reviewer
OK, the reviewer has been re-invited.
@sigven please accept the invite by clicking this link: https://github.com/openjournals/joss-reviews/invitations
@sigven you'll need to accept the invitation at the link above.
@pibion Thanks! Checkboxes work finally now.
@sigven , @jspaezp , will you have time in the next few weeks to work on this review? If you know when you'll have time I can set a reminder with whedon.
Hello @pibion, I referenced the issue I created in the host repository a couple of weeks ago.
I also checked some of the boxes that I believe have been fully complied with the standards of the journal.
Let me know if anything additional is required and feel free to reach me to my email if I have not replied to an issue in 24h.

@jspaezp excellent, thank you! @wesleyburr let me know if you have any trouble finding the issue?

I did see this, just been swamped with the semester's work. Hoping to get started on @jspaezp's feedback this week.
@pibion Truly sorry for my delay with providing my review; I have been swamped with other obligations. Currently, I am struggling to see how I can provide my comments along with the review checklist, in the same manner as @jspaezp did? I have realized that I should creat an issue in wesleyburr/subMadi, but how do I technically refer to the checklist so that it also shows in the same issue (as @jspaezp has elegently accomplished)?
