Hello human, I'm @whedon, a robot that can help you with some common editorial tasks. @lheagy it looks like you're currently assigned as the editor for this paper :tada:

For a list of things I can do to help you, just type:

@whedon commands

What happens now?

This submission is currently in a pre-review state which means we are waiting for the assigned editor (@lheagy) to find some reviewers for your submission. This may take anything between a few hours to a couple of weeks. Thanks for your patience :smile_cat:

You can help the editor by looking at this list of potential reviewers to identify individuals who might be able to review your submission (please start at the bottom of the list). Also, feel free to suggest individuals who are not on this list by mentioning their GitHub handles here.

Attempting PDF compilation. Reticulating splines etc...

:wave: @lheagy - the submitting author suggested you as the handling editor.

PDF failed to compile for issue #1121 with the following error:

Can't find any papers to compile :-(

Hi @arfon, I am happy to be an editor on this!

It looks like the paper is in a directory called joss - can this be communicated to whedon? or does the paper need to be in root or a paper directory

@whedon assign @lheagy as editor

OK, the editor is @lheagy

馃憢 Hi @rbeucher, thanks for your submission!

I have a couple minor comments:

  • it looks like there are two README's in the repo: one that is the .rst (which is displayed by GitHub), and another without a file extension. Would you mind consolidating?
  • Also, it looks like the syntax of your README.rst is actually markdown (e.g. the links) - you might want to update this

Do you have any recommendations for reviewers?

Hi @lheagy, thanks for accepting to be the editor on this. Just received the list of potential reviewers. Im having a look right now.

Hi @lheagy.

Here are some reviewer suggestions:

Sergio Zlotnik from the University of Barcelona,
Jolante van Wijk from New Mexico Tech Earth and Environmental Science
Thorsten Beker from The University of Texas at Austin
Thomas Theunissen from the University of Bergen, Norway

I have found Sergio on github, his pseudo is techas

@lheagy the location is fine. The only issue I can see is L19: orcid:0000-0003-3891-5444 <- this needs a space between orcid: and the value.
