@piermorel, I'm glad to see gramm submitted to JOSS! Do you have any suggestions for potential reviewers?
Thank you @cMadan it took a while, but now gramm feels complete enough!
As for reviewers, I don't have strong suggestions. I was thinking about Brian Lau, who is a neuroscientist and develops with Matlab (Matlab interface for Stan) and R. From the provided list, Tania Allard appears to have an interest in both Matlab and dataviz.
@brian-lau and @trallard, would either of you be interested in reviewing this submission?
@nickwan, I thought you may also be interested, and I think you've used gramm before too?
I don't think I can ethically be a reviewer -- pretty sure Pierre is using
one of my papers as an example in it

@nickwan, I think it's fine for you to be a reviewer as long as you didn't help develop the package. The review process here is more about the package being functional, sufficiently documented, and including some specific aspects (e.g., license, contributor guidelines, etc.)
This does sound quite interesting. I would for sure be interested in reviewing this or co-reviewing if anyone else is up for it
Thanks, @trallard! I'll wait a day or two to see if anyone else wants to co-review it with you, and then will start the review process either way :)
That sounds like a plan @cMadan. I will then keep an eye here :)
Definitely interested.
@trallard and @brian-lau, I will go ahead and start the review now. I am going to assign @trallard as the reviewer, as the JOSS system currently lets us assign one person as the reviewer, but please both do test the code and provide feedback equally as reviewers. Thank you again for volunteering to review this submission!
@whedon assign @trallard as reviewer
OK, the reviewer is @trallard
@whedon start review
You didn't say the magic word! Try this:
@whedon start review magic-word=bananas
@whedon start review magic-word=bananas
OK, I've started the review over in https://github.com/openjournals/joss-reviews/issues/568. Feel free to close this issue now!
