Check for update and test sites

I have updated jackett manually from cli and upgraded the OS packages. There does not seem to be any missing dependencies or anything similar. This was working yesterday on an older version, but I do not remember which version it was.

Changing to previous version (0.16.1252.0) solves the issue.

I see there are some major changes to the web client part. The errors suggests this is the culprit, and I guess there's something there that did'nt work (on my platform).

I have disabled auto updates to remedy the situation right now.

I'm experiencing the same issue. I think it worked fine yesterday or the day before. I remember using Jackett two days ago without any issues and now I get the same error. I'm running Jackett inside a FreeNAS jail. Everything is up to date.

I just tested by manually going back to version 0.16.1252.0 and that still works. So something broke for me with the latest update. I've disabled auto updates for now.

I just downloaded the .tar file of the previous release here: https://github.com/Jackett/Jackett/releases/download/v0.16.1252/Jackett.Binaries.Mono.tar.gz

You can find the files for other platforms here:

Extracted and overwrote all the files at /usr/local/share/jackett where I have Jackett installed.

I'm using Jackett inside a FreeNAS jail so might be different for you. Make sure to disable automatic updating afterwards and apply server settings otherwise Jackett will update again with the error.

OK you lot. So Jackett 0.16.1269 should restore functionality.
Don't forget to un-check the disable auto updates checkbox and saving the setting with the apply server settings button.

Im using a synology nas and im getting this error for all indexers. I also get it if i check for updates. Can anyone tell me which old version I need to download for synology nas to get it working again?

@garymguk stop your Jackett service and start it up afresh.
then access your Jackett dashboard and view the log.
scroll to the bottom and you should see info similar to this
