Hello,
I built this kext (target itlwm) in xcode and loaded the kext succesfully. However, it didnt connect to my hotspot named "Redmi". My wifi card is 8265.
The Readme says this card works.
Am I missing anything ?
Thanks :)
Known issue, seems 3 serials and 7 serials now can work, I don't have 8 series cards to verify, but I will fix it these days.

Can we help you somehow? Provide any logs? I have Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless AC 8260
Maybe I know where is the problem, but if you can provide the log can help me more, run command "log show --last boot | grep itlwm" to get the whole log.

use xcode to build, before build, change the target sdk 10.15 to 10.14, and change dedpendencies to your current os Library version.

Thanks!
The speed at which the development of this kext is progressing is very impressive.
Now only issue is slow speed and then we would be in a position to use it with atleast an open wifi network. Even this is unprecented in such small time. Kudos to the dev.

But what about kernel panic by wathing video on youtube in 1080p?)
If kernel panic occured, provide the kp log to me and attach more description will help me a lot, thanks.
I opened YouTube 1080p video and started Speedtest.
Not sure, if these logs are what you needed, but I'm ready to test more times.

I have full log (10 min of connection 113 MB txt file size) that I will provide if needed.
It is kind of stable but speed is lower than normal.
with usb wifi i get 55 Mbps/20Mbps on speedtest, with this kext I get 5Mbps/300kbps

The ssid and password is hard-coded in the source code. I modified it to match my router's ssid and password
Compiled and tired it with my ax200 but it does not seem to work/show up: log.txt

ax200 is gen2 device, will support in the future.
My card (Dual Band 3165) works fine on a hotspot (wpa2, newest commits) without Internet connection (ping, local webserver, etc.) but as soon as the AP is connected to the internet, macOS crashes. Working on providing a log.

what is your WiFi encryptions? WPA2/TKIP ?

I'm using an old telekom speedport w 700v (de) as an AP. On the configuration page, it says :
WPA / WPA2 operating mode with pre-shared key
In this mode, WLAN clients can register that support either WPA (TKIP) or WPA2 (AES) encryption. With WPA / WPA2 the encryption algorithm is continuously changed. This increases security.
I have also the option to just set it to only WPA or WPA2.
I could also use an Fritz!Box 7490 if necessary. I was just using this old router I had lying around, because I didn't want to set my main router to host a unprotected wifi before. Now, I just changed the settings to the pre-hardcoded credentials on master.
Here a few screenshots of my config :
maybe you can modify the hardcoded ssid and password with your main router WiFi and test agin. as for me, i also have 3165ngw and it works fine.
Looks like switching to a newer router did the trick! :)
Now I believe I have fix this issue, would you like to pull the latest code and try with your old router again?

Btw what's the reason for slow internet speed ? Is it something like the transmission power and roaming aggressiveness configuration or something more complex ?
multi-thread handling, tx and rx. Maybe more.
Hi - thanks so much for this kext! this is amazing work. My use case is a little different from most others. I'm trying to get an AX200/8265NGW (well just 8265 for now - but can't wait for AX200 support :) ) card working with a macbook pro through a thunderbolt3->PCIE card. It creates the interface and I see packets going back and forth, but when I try to unload the kext the computer freezes. @zxystd - any thoughts on how to gracefully unload the kext? Also - I had to add this to Info.plist to get it to accept the card
(@zxystd - can you add this or can I submit a pull request to add this to Info.Plist) so it can work for others trying something similar?

Yes, I have not handle the unload routine, and it will not fully unload, thanks for your special test case and feedback, I will add it and repair unload soon.
I'm a newcomer and I don't use Xcode . Could you please export the kext file for me? Thank you very much!
How can I use ?
when I use Xcode for using the kexts .... show error and it doesn't working ..
