Istanbul: No longer updated?

Hi,

It looks like instanbul is no longer updated, last update is Aug 21, 2016 (8 months ago), 40 PRs which not reviewed or merged into repo... Maybe someone can take control of this repo? Review PRs and merge them.

And here I am still using instabul-alpha wondering why it's never coming out of alpha...

Communication is key guys, how about deprecating this npm package in favour of the new monorepo/nyc so that users get a proper warning?
