No. I also think it should be the problem of plotly.

It may be that you can just update your notebook format version (see the majorVersion and minorVersion keys in the .ipynb file if you open it in a text editor).
What version of the python nbformat package do you have? Does it fix it if you downgrade to nbformat 4.x?

Also, please make sure you have the newest version of the python nbformat package installed. That is the package that is doing the validation.

Hi @jasongrout, thank you so much for the reply. That problem disappears somehow today. I didn't make any changes to the software/code. My nbformat version is 5.0.4, but I found the newest version is 5.0.8. I will try to upgrade it if the same issue comes again.
