Current behavior:
Cannot complete npm install with rc4. Results in peerinvalid error, regardless of upgrading from rc3, or starting a new project.
npm ERR! peerinvalid The package [email protected] does not satisfy its siblings' peerDependencies requirements!
npm ERR! peerinvalid Peer @angular/[email protected] wants [email protected]
Expected behavior:
Successfully complete npm install by installing all needed dependencies.

ionic start test --v2

I have the same error on Windows
It's works for me now.. You should update Node Version to the lastest stable (v6.9.2). You are using v4.2.6

Side note: I had no idea my Node was so out of date...
anyone knows why update node can solve this problem?

It's works for me now.. You should update Node Version to the lastest stable (v6.9.2). You are using v4.2.6
