Ionic-framework: Ionic v2 - Feature Request - Autocomplete Input

Short description of the problem:

Hello, Is it possible down the line to have an input with an autocomplete feature, where the input is bound to some sort of array and as you type, the component would filters / suggests results to you from the array that it's bound to.

Similar to this one from the material team.

+1 Now it's time to include this feature isn't it?! For any extensive app this would be a much needed feature. Wonder if @jgw96 @danbucholtz has any timeline on this?
