for quick solution, i get back to an older versions.

@djtrav this should not be closed. downgrading is not a real fix. I'm encountering the same issue.

Downgrading is not a valid answer. I am facing the same issue when upgrading to new ionic version.

No. I end up downgrading the ionic version.

Downgrade cordova to 6 if you are using higher version.
Might help you.
