Hi!
Firstly, thank you for invidious!
Please, allow me a simple question: I use DNSCrypt (https://github.com/jedisct1/dnscrypt-proxy/), which has two functions: "Cloaking" and "Forwarding". Is it possible to redirect any youtube' video to invidious by using DNSCrypt?
I tried to read all the invidious' wiki, I am not an expert, and I didn't find the info.
Thank in advance!
I believe this is more a question for the linked project than for Invidious. This page is likely what you want. Unfortunately I'm not very familiar with DNSCrypt, from the linked page, something like:
*.youtube.com invidio.us
Should do what you want.
Thank you @omarroth , I already know the DNSCrypt' Wiki page, and I already tested all the combinations possible with "*" (including the one you suggested)... I failed, I can't make it work : (
But again, thank you anyway for your help.
I expect you've already seen the page for Extensions, but if you only need it to work in a browser, there should be something there that may do what you want.
Yeap, I saw the extensions page, and this is not the problem, I can perfectly use invidious with extensions or JS' scripts... but this is exactly what I wanted to avoid!... and wanted to use invidious just trough DNSCript. In theory, DNSCrypt should work, but unfortunately I can't make it work.
Thanks again @omarroth
