Instapy: Gender/Age Prediction and Filtering

Classifying accounts by gender and age can be really helpful when targeting accounts. Outputs will be the different genders and some age range e.g. >20, 20-40, 40-60, >60.

Advantages of this feature:

• Better target audience definitions
• Less wasted interactions with not interesting accounts

Possible ways of achieving this while keeping control:

• Layered approach, building and using a ML model that gives predictions based on username, name, bio etc., followed by a image analysis if the confidence is too low.

Clarifai has a demografics model, this should be easy to implement as InstaPy already allows deciding to like or comment a photo based on gender , age and etnicity. I dont get why not decide to follow or not based on those.
