Instagram-private-api: React Native Support ?

Hi Guys and @dilame,

I saw some issues, #463, #303, #363, #202, #161. are these issues still not solved ?

Can I use this library in react native ?

React native is not a frontend library, its a mobile application development framework.

We don't know if you can use it in react native, it was your decision to use react native, so you should know what it can do, not us. 😄 We provide nodejs library, if react native supports nodejs runtime - than it will work

I do not know that is react native supporting or not node js. I found some libraries for running NodeJS process on the background of the react native app. I will try these libraries with your library, then I will share results under the this issue. Please do not close issue.

I have tried RN-Nodeify without much luck. I don't know how many more "Red Screens of Death" I can take :)

I did manage to get a makeshift version working by getting Node to run in parallel to React Native within the App using: https://code.janeasystems.com/nodejs-mobile

This insta package didn't work but: https://github.com/jlobos/instagram-web-api did

Hey, for those running this inside a RN app, do you run it through an embedded node runtime alongside the RN runtime, or do you run it directly inside the RN runtime.

I'm asking because this app depends on process.nextTick / fs apis, which are not provided by RN runtime so I don't understand how this could work in RN runtime. BTW @dilame do you really need to depend on node apis in core? removing those things might help making this lib browser/RN compatible imho
