https://stackoverflow.com/questions/25207909/tmux-open-terminal-failed-not-a-terminal
Have you gone through these steps? I usually type tmux attach after typing tmux. Is it possible you have no session to attach to? I would be surprised in hyper has any role to play here.
Thanks for the link, none of what is listed help, I think it is similar to https://github.com/jwilm/alacritty/issues/1687 but I don't see it is solved there as well
I do have tmux sessions as listed with tmux ls but tmux a fail with open terminal failed: not a terminal
if you open git bash does it work?
Yes, git and other bash command work fine, the problem with tmux only
tmux work fine on ConEmu
Same problem occured on Hyper 3.0.2 with msys2's tmux 2.9(without any config) and $TERM=xterm|xterm-256color
ssh, vim, and other commands work fine
shell: 'C:\\Users\\kentac55\\scoop\\apps\\msys2\\20180531\\usr\\bin\\bash.exe',
shellArgs: ['--login', '-i'],
env: {
'HOME': 'C:\\Users\\kentac55',
'MSYS2_PATH_TYPE': 'inherit',
'LANG': 'en_US.UTF-8'
},
@kentac55 Don't supposed you managed to sort this? Exactly same environment here, "not a terminal message" only in Hyper.
