Any possibility I could get this working on React Native?
:) good question.
a full javascript port...too much work for me, so i don't intend to.
It is possible for extra anxious users to create native modules based on https://github.com/galkahana/PDF-Writer, and that would be quite a bit of work.
so my suggestion is - use a server for PDF creation. then you can do whatever you want.
if there's a cloud service available that's an option too, i was even working on one once (https://services.pdfhummus.com/), but never got to biz, and now too busy for this.
Gal.
i'm thinking about web-assembly "port" for the hummus native lib (refer to https://github.com/galkahana/PDF-Writer/issues/94) as a possible solution
I'd like to help with web-assembly. Do you want to create a discussion about it?
good. i want to become more informed with web-assembly, and what i'd need to properly support it in the various envs that are interesting (given say, that FS is gonna be questionable, possibly, so i need to up my streams game there, probably). make a plan, and talk to you.
@galkahana
Just wanted to ask, if there has already anything happened regarding web-assembly, now it is broadly available in all major browser?
