Html: Translating HTML Living Standard into Chinese

I'm willing to translate this spec into Chinese. I want to make sure that I'm not doing redundant work.
And I know it's critical to keep sync with the latest whatwg/html standards, is there good ideas ?

Another thing I'm concerned about is the legal issues. To my understanding, I'll be fine if I keep this file: https://html.spec.whatwg.org/multipage/acknowledgements.html#acknowledgments.

Finally, I managed to build and serve the documents [here], while keeping the not-translated-yet contents up to date. We have translated the "Introduction" and a small part of "Infrastructure" by now. I'll mark all the translated sections with update information latter.

As far as I know there's no Chinese translation yet so this is exciting! Once you made progress we can add your translation to https://github.com/whatwg/html/wiki/Translations (thus far there's only translations into Japanese).

As far as tracking changes, I don't think anyone has developed a good framework for that yet. I suspect that might also depend on the amount of time you have and whether you can create a community to help you with the translation work. I'm sorry that we can't be of much help there yet.

As far as legal is concerned, just keep "Parts of this specification are © Copyright 2004-2014 Apple Inc., Mozilla Foundation, and Opera Software ASA. You are granted a license to use, reproduce and create derivative works of this document." around, but the acknowledgments section in general is nice to have as well so those reading the translation know who were involved in creating the standard.

Thank you for your explanation. I'm trying to setup a server for the original content, during which I encountered some problems. I need your help for the following questions:

Is all the content maintained in the source file?
What's the purpose of the w- attributes, such as w-nodev, w-nohtml, w-nosplit? Is there any document for this?

According to my understanding, the w-nohtml elements are ignored in the spec documentation (for HTML authors), so I guess w-nodev is supposed to be ignored for HTML implementers.

Actually, I cant find the documentation for impelmenters. Does that mean we need not to translate this part (marked by w-nohtml attribute)?

nodev is for implementors only, nohtml is for developers only. Currently those are not actively maintained however. The developer only edtion is somewhat broken. To build the specification, the whatwg/html-build and whatwg/wattsi repositories are used. We don't have much documentation other than that I'm afraid. Please tell us if you get stuck.

I'm traveling for a bit, but I'll see about documenting some of these things more clearly when back.
