It's just centered viewangles. It's can be implemented by software, there no reason for only singleplayer mode.

imagine that you are standing lower, for ex. at the beginning of the slide and the player at the top, when you execute command, viewangles will align centered depending on your location on bsp, not the location of the player you were aiming at.
