Gutenberg: Code editor not show some html entities

Describe the bug
The Code Editor doesn't show html entities linke ­

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to Hello World Post
2. Add a title block
3. type something and stwich to code editor
4. add this html code ­ in a long word
5. wait some seconds, the html disappears and then insert again and again.
6. Check the output on the front-end

Expected behavior
The code editor shows and allows to delete html entities like ­

It seems like the block serialization is stripping the ­ character, this seems like a bug.
