Guake: Search in current terminal not Working

Describe the bug
I' m using Ubuntu 20.04
The search feature does not work
In both versions 3.6.3 & 3.7.0
Expected behavior
Search in Terminal

Actual behavior

After calling CTRL+SHIFT+F, and typing the words in the search field nothing happens!
It does not give any search results

$ guake --support

I also can't make search work.
I'm using ubuntu 20.04 and guake --version output is following:

guake --version
Guake Terminal: 3.6.3
VTE: 0.60.1
VTE runtime: 0.60.1
Gtk: 3.24.18

Having the same problem with Ubuntu 20.04.1, my version is pretty similar:

$ guake --version
Guake Terminal: 3.6.3
VTE: 0.60.3
VTE runtime: 0.60.3
Gtk: 3.24.20

https://github.com/Guake/guake/pull/1769 has the PR, but parts of the code need to update.
