Arc furnace an empty cell

The cell was arc furnaced into 2 tin ingots. Since cells can also be made from steel or PTFE, this provides a way to convert those materials to tin.

Disable cell arcfurnacing or remove making cells from steel/ptfe
If anyone's desperate enough to make tin from steel or PTFE, more power to them.
Iron is super infinite in this pack, while tin is only a little bit infinite. So this is definitely exploitable if someone ran out of tin veins or just wants an infinite amount of it.
maybe remove steel and ptfe recipes. Should someone realy use it? Or i remove can reverse recipe so you cant recycle it.
I would say remove the recycling recipes but I'm only mv tier so idk if there's a good reason to recycle cells later on
imo its not worth fixing this @Dream-Master , only a fool would turn PTFE or Steel into Tin...
when you have iron golem farm and a fast way to turn iron into steel, it's quite easy to turn it into tin. Plus i'll say that nobody cares to lose a few ingots in the processus if you have infinite amounts of iron ingots. For lazy persons it's way better to make a tin farm than search for ore vein. So the better solution in my opinion is to remove the recycling recipe because in this pack you need a ton of empty cells until you reach the LCR.
when you have iron golem farm
You'll want large quantities of cassiterite sand anyways for oxygen production at least at the start, and can get large quantities of tin via other methods (bees, centrifuging lava) that provide other benefits anyways when you tier up.
I still not see the effort to stop this even worth opening the editor IMO.
well hv arc furnace with ebf can process steel fast enough and the best ore to get oxygen is magnetite because it's more common and produce also iron ingots. My point is why spend hours to find cassiterite/tin vein while you can use the first iron vein you find to turn it into tin. Even with bad ratio it's still worth it because you save time. I'm aware that if you have a golem farm, you reached a point in the pack where turn iron into tin make no sense. About bees i'll say that they need also hours to get decent tin bees so the fastest way is to turn iron into tin sadly.
Cassiterite electrolyzing is not a requirement at all, you can use air/water and glass. And iron is way easier to get than tin with redstone centrifuging and the fact that iron is extremely common in overworld/TF veins (feels like every other one...).
By the time you have steel, you already have a tin vein..
I agree with Richard, it's such a bizarre thing for any player to actually do that nobody does. If they do, good for them. Still not worth fixing, although making normal cells from steel is silly.
There are multiple ways to get many of the starter ores.
Infinite amounts of both iron and tin are possible.
If someone wants to setup a redstone farm, centrifuge it, smelt it to iron, EBF it to steel, extrude it into a cell, and then arc furnace it to tin...
well, I'd :slowclap: for them.
But considering those activities would already require at least an MV level setup, which means a tin source already, I don't see a need to try and prevent this since you can already:
-Hv centrifuge lava for tin
-Breed pretty trivial bees for tin
-Breed IC2 crops for tin
