Google-signin: is this module still maintained?

Created on 17 Jan 2017  Â·  13Comments  Â·  Source: react-native-google-signin/google-signin

I am using this module in my projects. Last few months there are no new commits into the master branch. Does this mean you have no plans/time/whatever to continue to support it? This is important to know for me and others if we should wait or fork library?

Thanks

This repo did not work for me, so I created one myself.
I am currently using it for my project.

I don't think this is the case. There are PRs from more than months old that have not been merged.

@devfd any thoughts on this?

Not having someone to merge commits and publish to npm is going to be a problem. This package already needs a new release that's compatible with RN 0.40.

and android signin doesn't work since some time now...

@devfd appears to have disappeared, is there anyone interested in taking over maintenance of the project?

I already proposed myself here.

I am a little bit busy with my wedding. I will get back to it from monday.
Sorry about this guys.

sorry guys I took some time off. this plugin is really hard to maintain alone. glad to have @Kerumen on board now.

if someone else is interested to come along let me know.

Thanks for the push access! I'll do my best to maintain this module.

@joonhocho now there is a new active maintainer, any chance to push back the changes on your fork here ?

@tlvenn I think two projects are in a state that's hard to be merged. I'm using Swift in mine, and APIs are quite different.

Thanks for the feedback @joonhocho.
