Godotsteam: Can you pre-compile version for Mac OS?

Created on 12 Nov 2019  路  6Comments  路  Source: Gramps/GodotSteam

Hi

I saw that there are releases of Godot 3.1+GodotSteam for Win and Linux, but not for Mac.
I don't have any Mac to compile it for myself. It is possible to ask a pre-compiled version for Mac too?

Thanks! and thanks for your work! 馃憤

Thank you, sir! I also do not have a Mac and am unable to create pre-compiled versions for Mac.

@thisismike97 would occasionally make me some when he had the time, however. I believe he did it with a VM version which I personally could never get working.

Perhaps he can make us all one?

Hi @aikoncwd & @Gramps

I have a hackintosh operational running macos Catalina (10.15).

Compiling templates for everyone is no problem, besides it being time consuming (the hackintosh runs very slowly / poor performance.)

If you provide me with the following (just a url, release version, commit number.):

Which godot version to use. (2.1.5 / 3.0 / 31 etc.)
Which godotsteam branch and commit to use.
Which version of the steamworks API. (I'll always use the latest one unless told otherwise.)

Any other godot modules that need to be included?

@thisismike97 If you do all three (2.1.6, 3.0.6, 3.1.1), I'll add them to the official pre-compiles.

That said, 3.2 is nearing and my next update for GodotSteam should be in a week or two.

well i got some templates for godot 2.1.6, however 3.1.1 has some issues with godot itself, ive filed a bugreport

We also decided to ditch support for 3.0.6

True, true, and true. Can you add the zip as a comment attachment?

The pre-compiles from @thisismike97 are currently being uploaded and will be available shortly. Both 2.1.6 and 3.1.1 will be available.
