Closing since it's already implemented in current 2.1 alpha branch.

Drag & Drop is a medium term goal at this point.
Will not deny that it makes the workflow a little more intuitive and
efficient (specially given that most engines UIs are steering towards this).
But if implemented, it has to be consistent across all the interfaces and
implemented properly everywhere, which is a considerable amount of work,
which will also requires a considerable time to design and good amount of
input from the userbase.
After a few stable releases, we´ll look at it!
