Gitup: Dismiss Toast messages from the keyboard
Can the toast messages be dismissed from the keyboard? They stick around too long and obscure the interface. Would be nice to dismiss them with the ESC key (for those of us that still have them) or a key shortcut.

Oh, this drives me crazy. Can't read the branch names every time these show up...

The toast messages really get in the way of the UI at times, while the "you are now on branch X" messages are pretty redundant because that information is visible throughout the UI anyway. I'd almost like to se an option to not have them at all.

Could they be converted to standard OS X notifications? Then they could be dealt with by the user at will.
