GitHub are adding a bunch of "beta" functionality likely without APIs but thought it was worth adding a ticket for the sake of having it written down as something we might want to add in the future!

I'll ask GitHub why they don't provide beta APIs more often :)

the product team goes over certain scenarios, if by releasing a beta API no "damage" will be created then they do it. If they have any doubts, and as still testing things, then they'll delay the API.

Which I suppose makes sense, especially in this case 😅
