Githawk: Badge unread

Created on 29 Apr 2018  ·  7Comments  ·  Source: GitHawkApp/GitHawk

Hello,

I’m wondering why I didn’t see a badge for merging my PR although I turned on badge unread?

Thanks.

Hey @Maryom
Where are you expecting to see the badge?

With “Badge Unread”, you get a badge on the app icon when you have unread issues/PRs.

Yup exactly I expected to see it on app icon but I didn’t see it and I didn’t capture app icon for some reasons.

Are you sure that inbox is not empty? 😄
Because I can see the badge when I have something at my inbox.

I saw it before. Well I think I didn’t see it in this case because I read it from my mail before I checked GitHawk.

The app badge works with background refreshes as far is a can remember. They might not always be super recently updated when opening the app.

The badge also shows up in the tab bar, I think regardless of the "badge unread" in the settings. It seems like all your notifications are read, hence its not there.

Maybe.. I will close it because it's not a real issue but maybe it needs networking polish 🙈
