@rnystrom How about a "Quote" button in the ... overflow menu on a comment which prefills comment? I'd love this!

If we added selection of text in cells, I'd also say add it to the copy/paste menu "quote" - bit more of a wishlist

Dig that idea, would be awesome! Might be a little tricky figuring out what part to quote (like what if they have images, tables, etc).

I mean technically we should be able to quote anything right?

but I'd say we should probably strip anything complex like tables/images/etc leaving just the text with basic markdown (bold, links, etc)

@rnystrom Turns out we don't handle quotes particularly well with any formatting besides basic text, so yeaaaaa

Should we card up separately improved quote mechanics?

This is implemented correct?, especially since the one edge case is filed separately in #859

@rnystrom would you like occasionally pointing out of tickets marked “open” that are already implemented and awaiting a close so that the open issues list is cleaner and more reliable. Could do a few every so often which should eventually get you to a pseudo-inbox zero. If you’d rather I didn’t do this and tag either you or someone else to confirm every time, I could also not as well, just a suggestion

@rnystrom agree but my point was that some stuff marked open, I feel have been ticked off. Hasn’t this one?
