What happened:
If you delete a Seed object, the garden namespace and some workload in it will not be removed from the cluster.
After Seed deletion:
$ k -n garden get pod

What you expected to happen:
Gardener should clean up all the added resources after the Seed was deregistered.
How to reproduce it (as minimally and precisely as possible):
Anything else we need to know?:
Environment:
kubectl version):I guess, we should check this issue after the gardenlet has been merged (#1601 )
/status on-hold
Should be fixed by switching to using the central GRM to deploy the seed bootstrapping chart.
/remove lifecycle/stale
We agreed on not implementing this via a ManagedResource for the whole seed-bootstrap chart and rather via proper individual component implementations including a WaitCleanup function like in this example.
