Game-compatibility: 454108E6 - Skate 3
Tested with 9/23/15 build. The game starts up and gets past the language screen and the intro movies but crashes at the start screen. No issue before the crash, the videos look normal, the audio is normal as well.

with 06/06/16 build i can get past the first 3D cutscene after the movie :-) i got a trick to pass the press start button ;-) just speed the cpu to 4x and bash start and A button before the emu crash !

i don't know if the scene with reda is in-engine or not because it looks more pixelated than the intro movie. u really need a screenshot ? i mean it crashes just after the cutscene every time i try so...

It's most likely just a prerendered cutscene then, especially if visuals weren't severely corrupt. Skate 2 has managed to get ingame briefly, but it almost never manages to. I have a hunch all three Skate titles crash due to a single issue. Logs might show that

and skate 2 is the only one i miss so i cannot test for the moment... i'm curious to see how xenia will draw the graphics of this game in the future... u tried with the demos ?

The game crashes pretty quick, so state-crash is still accurate. I have yet to make it past the start menu, despite your success

u need to speed up emulation and mash start/A buttons when there are potential prompts ;-)

Update
- with normal speed the resolver cannot resolve the game path and it looks like caused crash.
- with 2x game speed starts draws the intros correctly but crash on loading.. and writes wrong register of gpu

so i exacted the iso file and i removed the movie file so that i can see if the intro was the problem but no the problem is the menu

Yeah, I was really shocked too, and skate 1 it's going ingame and is playable, only it's black and white, and some textures are missing, but it's actually good progress.
I don't even know how I got in skate 3, it was the first time trying and I got ingame, now I get a black screen every time.

I get this error when I try to load into Skate 3. My PC specs are: I7-4790k, 24GB RAM, GTX 960 4GB, Has Vulkan Support.

It runs perfectly until I have to choose team name, when I confirm the name I get a black screen.
I do not have my PC rn, so I can't be more specific.

After the cutscene/movie the screen goes black and it's not playable.

Testing with 7/1/18 build. As mentioned by previous comments, everything runs fine audio/visual wise until you choose a team name, however you can bypass this by using a save file. The game is far from playable. The menu works fine, but once you're ingame, it's a glitchy mess.

you noticed any slowdowns while switching between free skate and career mode ? It was a known issue a few months ago..
(drops to 0.5 fps)

While playing around when running under the debugger, I encountered a host crash. It was caused by the XMA decoder.

Skate 3 freezes with a black screen after typing out the name of your skate company.

The game runs very well with ROV now 80-100 FPS on a 1070 ti at 1x res. The only major issue i've encountered in 6+ hours of playing (roaming, no campaign) is that you need a save to bypass creating your skate company. Without ROV i did encounter some weird character corrupting, as well as flying into the sky at 6 billion MPH 😛
On 2x resolution, there's some weird black flickering on the character, i believe it's shadow related but i could be wrong. Can't be captured well in a screenshot

Update:
Finally resolved blackscreen after providing team name. Game goes ingame without issues. Might crash randomly due to "Skate 3" 🐑
