Galaxy: [Feature Request] User profile page

There has been some discussion around creating public profiles for users (if they choose to enable the functionality) with shared Galaxy artefacts. The goal is to enhance and acknowledge shareability.

We have created a mockup to see how it could look like. Apart from activating the public profile, users should be able to enable only the sections they want to share (histories, workflows...). Thoughts on this?

To reproduce some of the discussion from the telco, this sounds amazing!

Some concerns were raised about multiple profiles on multiple servers, maybe we need an aggregation service galaxyproject.org/profile/{orcid} or so, where people can control what is shown.

Love the idea of ORCID integration!

Since "My Histories/Workflows/Visualizations" are (I image) the public ones, not sure there is much point in making them "hideable". On the other hand, I'd probably drop the "Tools usage" part (but maybe it's just me).

Thank you @hexylena and @nsoranzo for your comments!

The way we thought that "Tools usage" could benefit users is the tools discoverability, e.g. you are interested in a certain topic and you know a researcher that is prominent in that scientific area. You can check out in the public profile (if the prominent researchers enabled that section) which tools are the most commonly used ones that you might (or might not) know about.

We could also show the tools that the user has starred?
