Fsnotes: Question: do notes have to be manually backed up before automatic backup can be used?

Created on 6 Jan 2020  路  1Comment  路  Source: glushchenko/fsnotes

I've just found out about the Git backup functionality. I've turned it on, but most of my notes are still not commited to the Git backup repo. Only one note that I have backed up manually by hitting CMD + S has been automatically backed up when they backup timer was reached.

Is this intended behavior? Do I have to press CMD + S on every note at least once before automatic backup works correctly?

Ok, as it turns out, I've just misunderstood how the backup timer works. The phrasing "Back up every __ hour at __ minutes" implies that setting this to "1 hour at 5 minutes" would perform a backup at every fifth minute of an hour, but it's actually "1:05 o'clock".
