@bugron @jniro any progress on this? We are almost ready to launch the Spanish translation this week. Russian will be possible as soon as the translation work is done :)

@QuincyLarson actually, I don't know. No one has contacted me about the Russian translation.

@bugron I can take part in making Russian translation in general. Can do ru-en en-ru translations pretty fast and of high quality, but I'm pretty busy lately. I could, for example, do translation of at least one item (exercise) per day. Will be able to provide more certainty not earlier than I finish voting app, which will hopefully happen soon. Are there any recommendations except https://github.com/vtamara/fcc_trad/blob/master/Recomendaciones.EN.md?

@rfprod don't know if we have anything else than Vladimir's article. If you're going to work on this take a look at this repo https://github.com/alnero/FCC-Russian-Translation, this may decrease the translation time.
@rfprod where are you located if you don't mind me asking?

@bugron concerning location - this information is not public, but can be shared privately in case of substantial need.

@rfprod good point, sorry.

I am in the process of finishing the getting started Russian translation.

Can someone explain how merging works with translation?

@jniro when you open a PR I'll QA and merge.

Can someone tell me how the merging with the translation works. I dont suppose to pull before pushing to my branch, second, I do not think I cant push it to my branch before merging what I have on my branch? is that right?

@jniro any updates on this issue?

I am having trouble with pushing my local work to hit hub. Can someone give
me some info on that. I learned that I can't pull since I am working on
different language. I did that last time and lost all the translation

@jniro Can you please give a clear answer what is the status of translation, you are holding issue more than 2 weeks allowed, I would like to help with translation and can take your part.
P.S. Everybody willing to help please join gitter room and please check my glossary for translation so everybody would use single terms. If there is glossary already, please give link to it.
P.P.S If I want to translate other blocks I can open issue by myself or there is some algorithm to do it?

@Chichavl you may use React projects translation as a reference for templates for phrases for your glossary.

I could also help with the translation. If needed, I can just seek out typos and grammar mistakes, but if you want, I can help with most of the work.

@Nikitaw99 this issue lasts for ages. If you want to do proofreading for Russian translation, you may do it for recently merged Russian Translation of Front End Development Certification: HTML5 and CSS. Not sure if someone except the interpreter did QA. At least, I was not requested to make any changes before the pull request was merged. A fresh perspective may reveal some flaws.
