Use case would be buttons and unorganized list buttons (I was hesitant to request this since I use this symbol a lot on my own website designs but it is a general symbol which I think everyone can utilize). My favorite would be

I second this request. I'd like to see an icon for the card suites. (I did check 3.1.0 and 3.2.0 but haven't seen these added)
-- just to add further information. I'm currently working on a card-game and as opposed to using png files (downloaded from wikipedia) I'd like to generate my own face cards using the suite icons. (more info: http://tamaspiros.co.uk/2013/06/20/online-card-game-with-node-js-and-socket-io-episode-5/)

I'd like a diamond too, but one that is a rotated square. The examples I've seen of card suits don't have 90degree angles. Mine would be for use as a background (similar to the icon-sign-blank). Using a rotate transform doesn't work everywhere and is slow as well.

I'm curious what made this take this long. Is this about deciding if it should be made or not; or is it because nobody has time to make it? I'm curious because I can give a hand if there is a documentation for contributions and a document for specs. :)

Solid and outline versions would be good. Sometimes Spades/Clubs can be difficult to tell apart when they are small. Some folks use Blue or Green for the Club symbol (Bridge Base Online, I think) and others use an outline for clubs and diamonds so they have an extra difference from spades and hearts (the minor suits versus the major suits, if you play bridge)

+1 unicode symbol may be replaced with emoji icons by some browsers and you cannot change the color. I don't understand why it's an issue to add this very useful set of icons
